End-User Engagement (EUE) Liaison - EHR Implementation
MicroHealth is seeking a dynamic and experienced End-User Engagement (EUE) Liaison to serve as a critical bridge between multiple stakeholder groups during comprehensive Electronic Health Record (EHR) system implementations across multiple medical centers. This role requires a strategic communicator and change management professional who can ensure consistency, drive adoption, and facilitate seamless coordination across Training, Change Management, Communications, Informatics, and deployment teams throughout complex healthcare technology transitions.
Position Overview The End-User Engagement Liaison will act as the central coordination point—the "fulcrum"—between diverse stakeholder groups and the central deployment team during multi-site EHR implementations. This role is essential to ensuring consistency and repeatability in end-user engagement execution across multiple hospital deployments at different stages of their EHR transition journey. The ideal candidate will proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolve cross-functional issues, and maintain strong relationships with clinical, administrative, and technical stakeholders to drive successful EHR adoption and optimize the end-user experience.
*This position requires significant client interaction and travel to medical center sites for key onsite events, go-lives, and stakeholder engagement activities. These are hybrid roles on-site 40%.
Key Responsibilities
Lead as the primary End-User Engagement (EUE) Liaison for comprehensive EHR system implementations across multiple medical centers
Serve as the central point of coordination between Training, Change Management, Adoption, Communications, Informatics, and the central deployment team
Ensure consistency and repeatability in EUE strategies, processes, and execution across multiple hospital deployments at varying stages of transition
Develop and maintain standardized EUE frameworks, templates, and best practices that can be scaled across diverse healthcare environments
Act as the "glue" between multiple stakeholder groups, facilitating collaboration and alignment across organizational boundaries
Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical leadership, administrative staff, IT teams, training coordinators, and end-users at multiple medical centers
Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings, working sessions, and communication forums to ensure alignment and address concerns
Translate technical EHR concepts into user-friendly language for diverse audiences including physicians, nurses, administrative staff, and support personnel
Gather feedback from end-users and stakeholders to inform continuous improvement of training, adoption strategies, and system optimization
Serve as the voice of the end-user, advocating for their needs and concerns throughout the implementation lifecycle
Partner with Change Management teams to develop and execute comprehensive change strategies that drive EHR adoption and minimize resistance
Identify change impacts across different user groups and develop targeted engagement strategies to address specific needs and concerns
Monitor adoption metrics and user sentiment, proactively addressing barriers to successful EHR utilization
Support the development and execution of change readiness assessments, impact analyses, and adoption measurement frameworks
Facilitate change champion networks and super-user programs to build grassroots support for EHR adoption
Collaborate with Training teams to ensure training content, delivery methods, and schedules align with end-user needs and organizational readiness
Coordinate training logistics across multiple sites, ensuring consistent quality and effectiveness
Support the identification of training gaps and recommend adjustments to training strategies based on end-user feedback and adoption data
Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions and support the development of site-based training resources
Monitor training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements to training approaches
Partner with Communications teams to develop and disseminate clear, timely, and relevant information to end-users throughout the implementation lifecycle
Ensure consistent messaging across all sites while allowing for site-specific customization as needed
Develop communication materials including newsletters, FAQs, quick reference guides, and visual aids to support end-user understanding and adoption
Coordinate communication channels including town halls, department meetings, email campaigns, and digital platforms
Monitor communication effectiveness and adjust strategies based on stakeholder feedback
Proactively identify risks related to end-user engagement, training effectiveness, adoption barriers, and stakeholder alignment
Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks before they impact implementation success
Serve as the escalation point for end-user concerns, issues, and feedback, coordinating resolution across appropriate teams
Facilitate issue resolution meetings and ensure timely follow-up on action items
Document lessons learned and incorporate insights into future deployment strategies
Coordinate EUE activities across multiple concurrent implementations, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and milestones
Develop and maintain EUE project plans, tracking progress against key deliverables and success metrics
Provide regular status updates to project leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommended actions
Support go-live readiness assessments from an end-user engagement perspective
Participate in project meetings, working sessions, and governance forums as the EUE subject matter experience
Travel to medical center sites for key events including kickoffs, training sessions, go-lives, and post-implementation support activities
Provide onsite presence during critical implementation phases to support end-users, address concerns in real-time, and ensure smooth transitions
Conduct site visits to assess readiness, gather feedback, and build relationships with local stakeholders
Support elbow-to-elbow assistance during go-live periods as needed
Flexibility to travel across the country to client sites as implementation schedules require
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field
Minimum five or more years of Change Management experience in healthcare or complex organizational environments
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute change strategies that drive adoption and minimize resistance
Experience with change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, and change readiness evaluation
Proven track record of supporting organizational transitions and technology implementations
Five or more years of Training experience in healthcare or technology environments
Experience coordinating training programs for diverse audiences
Understanding of adult learning principles and training effectiveness measurement
Ability to assess training needs and recommend appropriate delivery methods
Five or more years of Stakeholder Engagement/Management experience
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholder groups including clinical staff, leadership, and technical teams
Experience facilitating meetings, working sessions, and collaborative problem-solving activities
Demonstrated success in managing competing priorities and navigating complex organizational dynamics

Ability to learn and navigate EHR systems and related healthcare technologies
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Oracle EHR exposure (Oracle Health, Cerner Millennium, or similar enterprise EHR platforms)
Experience with other major EHR vendors such as Epic, Meditech, or Allscripts
Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) and data exchange concepts
Familiarity with clinical workflows and healthcare delivery models
Experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting (hospital, clinic, medical center, or healthcare IT organization)
Understanding of clinical roles, responsibilities, and workflows for physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, Joint Commission, CMS regulations)
Experience supporting federal healthcare organizations (VA, DoD, IHS) is highly desirable
Experience with multi-site implementations or enterprise-wide technology deployments
Background in organizational development, process improvement, or quality management
Experience with data analytics and adoption measurement

Salary: $150,000-$165,000
